Shock Da’ World plans to own up to his name with his freshman LP ‘I Told You’ scheduled for release first quarter of 2007. The Up-North (Rhode Island) rapper plans to make a mark in the industry as an artist that does what moves his soul while reppin his city to the fullest. His unique style reflects a part of the world that has yet to be put on the map, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Hartford aka the North Side. Shock began his career as a young man on the streets of Connecticut as what some would call a thug. It was his determination for greatness that removed him from the game a delivered him into his destiny as a voice for the Up-North rap movement. Coming from a background where gang bangin and drug selling was provident throughout streets and schools, Shock spent much of teenage life in juvenile detention centers. As a result he was lead to believe that rapping was for dreamers until he was able to market himself and actually make a profit. “I knew then that rappin is not just my talent, it’s my business”, said Shock. “My career is a way for me to do what I love and feed my family; I can’t complain.” The rap talent is proud to say that he gave his life to Christ two years ago and things haven’t been the same since.

He was blessed to work with Up-North production team, “Track House”. Track House produced more than half of the album giving it a true reflection of Shock and the Up-North style. After being discovered in a CU casino the rapper migrated to Sin City, Las Vegas. This is where he would make the connection with newly developed urban record company Pro Audio Record, Inc. CEO and President, Mark Bausch, also known as the “Boss” has groomed Shock by providing top notch production from platinum proven producers like The Soundscannerz of Doggystle Records. The team of which have produced for artists such as Redman, Snoop Dogg, G-Unit, Kamm, Xzibit and many others. Producers Josef and Quaze of the Soundscannerz have custom made tracks for ‘07 LP and are confident that the delivery of Shock will be a hit in the clubs from the south to the north to east and the west coast.

Shock Da’ World has an empire that he has lined up after the release of his album, promoting new artists under his label crew Up North Alliance/Pro Audio Records, Inc. The artist has been compared to acts such as Chingy and 50 Cent. Although he maybe compared to other artist, Shock is able to stand alone with his lyrical content. He takes pride in rapping about his real life experiences, however without following the lead of colleague artists’ by down grading women or boasting about bling, bling. Shock plans to deliver hits for what he calls the common man, giving more of his fans music to realistically relate to. He has heat for the Latin crowd, Hip-Hop, R&B, and even Pop. Concentrating on putting out good product, Shock Da’ World has managed to create a tight album you can definitely play all the way out in your disc changer.
